The Advanced Mission Solutions product line, as part of the C4ISR business unit within the Electronics Systems (ES) sector of BAE Systems, is seeking a qualified candidate to be a member of the Software Configuration Management Team.
Under direct supervision and given specific direction, the successful candidatewill execute SCM activities per the Configuration Data Management Plan and BAE Systems policies and procedures.The SCM will learn to manage software repositories using designated SCM tools for software version and baseline control, using BAE Systems procedures. They will learn to perform and document required software builds as directed to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines and deliveries. They will gain experience in executing release and change control functions using SCM tools in order to ensure software product integrity.
The SCM will assist in generating and maintaining all necessary program software development, release and change records, including status accounting records. They perform SCM Configuration Control Board activities including establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and maintaining action items lists.
The SCM will develop proficiency in the use of the assigned SCM tools, and knowledge of company software configuration management processes and standards.
The SCM will peform Data Transfers in a classified environment and aid in the creaton and duplication of software media.
_* Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due, this particular role is full-time on site at a BAE Systems facility._

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- US citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance
Ability to become proficient with:
+ Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ClearCase).
+ The development of builds, scripts, procedures, and control systems, including source code control and issue tracking.
+ Executing software release and change control functions using the designated SCM Tools in an Agile environment, in order to ensure software product integrity and meet program schedules.
+ Managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment environment and tool set.
+ Facilitating Configuration Control Board activities and develop and generate metrics as related to SCM (e.g., issue tracking counts, lines of code).
+ Establishing and enforcing SCM Policy on assigned program(s) as set forth in company procedures or project Configuration Management Plans...
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
-Two or more years related experience.
- Bachelor s degree in a technical field
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Experience with basic computer applications, databases, operating systems, and hardware.
- Experience with SCM tools such as Git, Jira, BitBucket, ClearCase and ClearQuest.
- Experience with the performance of moderately complex systems administration tasks for these tools or for PCs.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
