Description Typical Day in the Role - Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to manage the mechanical category within datacenter equipment-developing suppliers defining strategy setting pricing and allocating equipment needed for datacenter builds. - Key projects: This role will contribute to aligning with suppliers on two new datacenter designs finalizing design requirements and establishing pricing so purchase orders can be awarded for upcoming builds Candidate Requirements - Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain: - Verbal and written communication skills attention to detail negotiation skills and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze financial reports price proposals and other technical data. - Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. - Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing. - Knowledge of supply chain management. - Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
