Job Description

Within the Power Solutions division in Farmington Hills, MI, BOSCH is improving the quality of life by leveraging our technology leadership and manufacturing scale to accelerate the clean energy transformation globally.

As an entry level technician in the powertrain testing labs, the ideal candidate would be part of a global team investigating all products in the Power Solutions & Electrified Motion portfolio’s within the North American Market. 

Responsibilities:

Focus on preparation and maintenance of testing equipment and vehicle/engine prep for testTroubleshoot test equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and digital systemsAptitude and interest in artificial intelligence, digitalization and computer automation topicsEngine / vehicle repair and modification workElectrical and mechanical schematic interpretationWire harness creation and modificationExecute tests for gasoline, diesel, fuel cell, and electrified powertrain componentsProactively seek out new challenges, opportunities, and implement process improvements.Work well in teams, take direction from others, and contribute ideas/solutionsUsage of MS products (Outlook, excel, word)

QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Technical/vocational training or 2 years of experience in automotive field, including experience in the research & development domains.Strong mechanical skill set.Good communication, responsible and accurate.Knowledge of computer data processing (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Positive attitude and always seek improvement opportunities.

Preferred

Coding experience.Experience with advanced usage of AI.Experience with computer automation.Advanced usage of excel (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, etc.).
