Volt is immediately hiring multiple entry level Manufacturing Test Operators in Fremont, CA.
As a Manufacturing Test Operator you will::
Lift and move server panels from assembly table to a server rack; lifting up to 50 lbs Use tray table/Lift mechanism to load server into the rack Move server rack from assembly to testing station and from one testing station to another May entail 5-6 miles of walking and standing for long periods of time during working hours. Conduct quality tests on servers / racks and monitors Monitor test progress during testing cycle Test failed servers Check out test passed server racks and move to hi-pot station and back to storage area Issue reports in failure issues, re-testsPositions are temp to hire with a company offering excellent benefits and job stability. Hours are full time, M-F 8am - 5pm, requiring the ability to work overtime.
The ideal candidate will have:
0-1 years of assembly or test or manufacturing experience - these are entry level Ability to stand/walk all day in a manufacturing environment Lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the day Able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug screenPay Rate: $21.50/hr.
