Job Description

As an Entry Level Detailer, you will be responsible for creating 2D drawings of custom-engineered metal buildings as part of a complete design solution. Safety is a top priority in all aspects of this role; therefore, candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. You will collaborate directly with Project Coordinators, Design Engineers, and other team members to produce initial drawings required by customers and end-users.

Responsibilities

Accurately create drawings to meet local building permitting requirements.Prepare detailed drawings for customer scope review and approval prior to production detailing and fabrication.Develop drawings of specific conditions for customer confirmation prior to production detailing and fabrication.Manage drawing schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.Legally authorized to work in the US.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47320.00 - $47320.00/yr.

Yearly bonus, potential up to 2 bonuses in one calendar year. (First bonus based off yearly salary + OT worked, 2nd bonus based off Nucor's performance in a calendar year. 2nd bonus, 80% of bonus goes into 401K and 20% cash).
401K
Up to 9% pay raise after every 6 months, so 2 raises in one year.
They work Monday - Friday in office but after a year they could be eligible depending on performance to have 1 day at home
1 week pto after 6 months and 3 weeks pto after a year, 10 holidays paid after 90 days and 1 personal day after 90 days
