Job DescriptionJob Summary: Eurofins Viral Safety is seeking an entry level Cell Culture Associate Scientist to join their team in Lancaster, PA.
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8am-5pm
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform aseptic tissue culture techniques such as expansion and seeding of adherent and suspension tissue culture lines, including numerous mammalian culture cell lines.Perform common lab skills include microscopy, aseptic media preparation, mechanical pipetting, serial dilution preparations, and basic calculations including the use of Excel spreadsheets.Perform tissue culture based analytical testing including growth promotion testing of media components.Review and evaluate raw data for acceptabilitySet up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the departmentDocument work as required for GMP complianceQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular or cell biology, or-related field or other related degree concentration,Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Additional InformationWorking schedule will be Full-Time, Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm.
