Entry Level Architectural Design Technician

You’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with planning, architectural design, and existing conditions assessments. You’ll be responsible for design and production of construction documents under the supervision of a Project Lead for one of our major retail grocery clients. Duties include basic design, setting up and coordination of construction documents, based on standard architectural practices and applicable codes. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail, capable of following established client standards. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two days per week in office. You’ll be surrounded by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career. By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other. • CAD Certification or Degree in Drafting & Design - Preferred • Degree in Architecture or Related Field - Preferred • Basic knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite • Ability to effectively work with internal architectural and engineering team • Ability to work independently when given a set of instructions • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills • Based in Orlando, Florida area This position will be open for at least 3 days.
