Job Description
The Billing Analyst plays a critical role in the development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of orders and invoices, resolving billing issues, and processing billing adjustments with precision and authorization.
ResponsibilitiesProvide input into the ongoing development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies.Reconcile orders for gas to match bill of ladings and match invoice sets to stores.Reconcile amounts billed to stores compared to amounts paid by stores.Resolve and track billing issues as they arise, collaborating with fuel and accounting support teams to address root cause problems.Process billing adjustments timely and accurately to fuel accounts, ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place.Conduct invoicing review and variance analysis, requiring sign-off.Essential SkillsProficiency in bank reconciliation, credit card transaction processing, and expense allocations.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.1-2 years of relevant work experience.Understanding of accounting procedures, accounting concepts, and internal control processes in general accounting.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
