Entity Finance Manager
As the Entity Finance Manager in the area of Entity Finance Control, you will
Month End Closing and Corporate Reporting Lead Month End Closing, oversee GBS activities. Monitor GBS errors / issues and enable improvements where needed Ensure KAR is performed monthly and balance sheet is well-managed Drive process improvements to reduce risk of errors and focus time in right place rather than periodic 'clean up' Ensure timely and quality reporting to meet Corporate requirements e.g. IFRS reporting pages, JCFC, CBCR, JSOX controls Review / Prepare specific analysis requested by Corporate Accounting ensuring correct commercial context added Statutory Financial Statements and Financial Audit Own the review of ST ledger and guide Entity Finance Specialists in areas to investigate, ensure clean STTX closing Prepare year end closing and statutory preparation calendar working closely with Tax and GBS Act as SPOC on all audit matters during interim and year-end following up with various departments and functions within Market, Factory and GBS Provide all required information to Deloitte, answer queries timely and follow up regularly to ensure sign off by March 31 Manage auditors to make their audit process more efficient with continued improvements and reduction of audit hours Provide accounting expertise Ensure accurate calculation of VIU for annual goodwill impairment testing. Liaise with Corporate Accounting and Deloitte as needed Provide expertise within market / factory on accounting implications and / or accounting treatments, acting as key point of contact for such topics Review contracts / new transactions / projects for accounting implications and ensure correct treatment is followed Support any capex projects including final capex / opex assessment Ensure thorough understanding of the business model for effective compliance with requirements to minimize tax exposure People management Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly to the incumbent. Support the development of other specialists within Entity Finance and Controls team as required. Ad-hoc entity finance and controls activities Support entity finance and controls team on ad-hoc activities as delegated. Ensure such activities do not compromise other deliverables, unless agreed by Entity Finance Director / Market Finance Director.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance. CPA is a must Minimum 8 years of experience in finance (Accounting / External Audit), with at least 4 years in a managerial level role in a multinational organization, manufacturing, or financial services sector Experience in managing financial audits and statutory financial statement preparation a must Strong IFRS / PFRS accounting knowledge; at least basic knowledge of Philippines Corporate Tax system SOX experience is a plus Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance High degree of independent judgement and decision making Resourceful, analytical and critical thinker Senior stakeholder management experience and ability to summarize complex issues to influence decision-making Strong communication skills; ability to challenge status quo using fact / data-based insights Fluent in English spoken and written Functional skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project) SAP S/4 HANA and BW knowledge or background is preferred TME knowledge a plus
