**Your role and responsibilities**
As an Enterprise Strategy Consultant at IBM, you'll be working closely with clients and their customers to understand their pain points, bringing together IBM's unique capabilities across enterprise strategy, AI, innovation, design, data analytics, cognitive computing and technology platforms to develop and deliver high-impact transformation programs. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed.
The key responsibilities will include:

Support the development and implementation of enterprise strategies across different business functions (e.g., operations, finance, HR, technology), including value orchestration across business and technology domains.

Apply AI-enabled and data-driven approaches to help clients shape and accelerate their strategic and transformation agendas.
*
Develop and structure business cases for strategic initiatives, including value, cost, risk and benefit assessments.
*
Design and apply prioritization frameworks to support portfolio, initiative and investment decisions.
*
Contribute to client engagements using the IBM Garage Experience to co-create, prototype and scale innovative solutions.
*
Conduct market research, data analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
*
Prepare presentations, reports and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
*
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client projects and internal initiatives.
*
Contribute to project management activities, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Continuously learn and apply new consulting frameworks, tools and methodologies.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
*
Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
*
Proven capability in enterprise strategy development and strategic problem structuring.
*
Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies and their application to business transformation.
*
Experience or strong exposure to value orchestration, aligning business, technology and operating model levers.
*
Ability to build robust business cases for transformation and strategic initiatives.
*
Hands-on experience applying prioritization frameworks and decision support models.
*
Experience in defining and managing KPI frameworks and value tracking.
*
Exposure to, or experience working with, the IBM Garage Experience or similar co-creation and agile transformation approaches.
*
Powerful communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply.
*
Ability to apply logic to solve ambiguous problems and deliver creative and well-structured solutions.
*
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, able to build direct working relationships across all levels of IBM and client teams.

Fluent in English and German, written and spoken.
*
Swiss / EU nationality or valid Swiss work permit.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Passion to understand the applications of emerging technologies and adapt modern approaches and innovative solutions to client problems
* Strong problem-solving capabilities, including the desire to take ambiguous problems and deliver creative and well-structured solutions; as well as applying deep analytical skills to ensure recommendations are informed by data and insights
* Highly motivated, with clear evidence of drive and significant achievements
