Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Storage Administrator in Phoenix, AZ. This is a one-year contract assignment. Onsite interviews and five days a week working onsite in downtown Phoenix are required. Overview: We are seeking a proactive and skilled Enterprise Storage Administrator to manage and enhance our storage environment using a variety of tools and technologies. This role is critical to ensuring system visibility, rapid issue detection, and effective response coordination across infrastructure services. Key Responsibilities: * Design, configure, secure, and maintain highly available enterprise data storage systems * Proactively monitor storage systems and generate utilization reports to identify and resolve issues * Troubleshoot performance problems on FC network and NAS storage systems, applying long-term solutions * Refresh data across environments per application or service owner requests * Develop and maintain SOPs and documentation that support repeatable processes and rationale * Publish team-approved storage standards and policies * Follow ITIL practices for Change Management * Work across multiple vendor hardware and software platforms * Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to user and departmental needs * Create and manage documentation templates for SOPs and knowledge transfer * Perform daily health checks of storage, network, and server environments * Schedule and execute system reboots or failovers for patching or outages * Manage incoming ServiceNow tickets related to monitoring and storage issues * Open vendor support cases as needed * Collaborate with internal teams, management, and vendors to resolve issues * Participate in meetings to promote observability services * Provide regular status updates and maintain clear communication regarding system health
