Job Description

For the newly established  Data Analytics & Reporting department in Automotive Finance & Controlling, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect. The major responsibility is to harmonize the current system landscape and design & maintain the application landscape to be future proof and fullfills the requirements of a data platform which can be used by the Data analytics & reporting community, but also from Business and IT. 

 Main Tasks: 

Design robust financial systems and applications that meet the strategic needs of the organizationEnsure scalability, reliability, and security of automotive financial systems.Integrate financial systems with other business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).Work closely with finance and executive teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Liaise with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of financial systems.Lead the implementation of new financial systems and applications.Oversee system upgrades and enhancements to improve functionality and performance.Ensure ongoing maintenance and support of financial systems.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Implement data governance policies and practices.Ensure financial systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial systems and data.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in financial systems.Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related fieldSeveral years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar roleProven experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL processesExperience with data integration from various sources and managing large datasetsProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or ScalaStrong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projectsExperience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
