The base pay for this position generally is between $69,000.00 and $113,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $25,000.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Partner with Account Executives and Managers to identify customer requirements then develop strategic, cost-effective proposals for Spectrum solutionsDesign and present complex network solutions for voice and data applications, including technical specifications and topologies tailored to client needsConduct site surveys, provide technical sales support and deliver post-sale documentation to ensure seamless installation, integration and customer satisfactionCollaborate with Finance to assist with solution pricing and secure necessary approvals aligning proposals with business objectivesDeliver technical training to sales and support teams to enhance product knowledge and awareness of industry trendsWorking Conditions

Required Qualifications
Education
Associate’s degree or equivalent training, education and experience preferably with concentration in Information Technology or Telecommunications Engineering Technology or equivalent work experienceExperience1+ year of sales engineering and networking experience in the telecom or service provider industrySkills
Foundational understanding of designing and implementing small to medium WAN solutions using current and legacy network technologies such as SD-WAN and EthernetWorking knowledge of corporate data security methods and systems including Firewalls, VPNs and DNSFoundational voice networking experience with emphasis on Unified Communications hosted and premises-based solutions and voice signaling protocols including SIP and VoIPGeneral knowledge of networking technologies including VPN, TCP/IP, IP VPN, MPLS, VPLS, Ethernet, DWDM and CWDMExperience with routing, switching and security protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, RIP, CoS/QoS and emerging technologiesAbility to multitask and partner with assigned Sales Managers to drive sales results and enhance customer experienceAbility to work closely with sales executives and understand the sales cycleStrong verbal and written communication skillsFoundational sales skills in presentation and proposal designProficient in MS Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPointConsultative approach to solutions and design with strong knowledge of converged multimedia applicationsValid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record and auto insurance coveragPreferred Qualifications
Education
