Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic ERM Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool strategy. This role will be responsible for owning the firm’s risk taxonomy, ensuring alignment of risk data, and managing the business entity hierarchy for risk reporting and aggregation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in risk frameworks, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of the firm’s GRC tool strategy to support enterprise-wide risk management.Own and maintain the enterprise risk taxonomy and ensure consistent application across risk programs.Oversee the alignment and integrity of risk data across systems and reporting structures.Manage the business entity hierarchy used for risk aggregation and reporting.Collaborate with stakeholders across the three lines of defense to ensure effective integration of risk data and frameworks.Influence and partner with senior leaders and support functions to drive risk management maturity.Required Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant risk management experience in Financial Services.Deep knowledge of GRC frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000), risk taxonomies, and regulatory expectations (OCC, FRB, FDIC).Strong understanding of data governance, risk systems, and business entity structures.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.Preferred Skills & Certifications:
Experience with GRC platforms such as Archer or similar tools.Professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, or equivalent.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.Hours & Work Schedule
