**Job Title** **Senior Azure Cloud Engineer** **Role Summary** NTT DATA is seeking a **Senior Azure Cloud Engineer** responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines on Microsoft Azure. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive cloud best practices across delivery teams. **Key Responsibilities** + Design, build, and maintain **Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines** to support automated build, test, and deployment processes + Lead the implementation and management of Azure infrastructure using **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** with **Bicep and/or Terraform** + Provision, configure, and manage Azure services including: + Azure Functions + Azure Key Vault + Azure Front Door + Azure Storage Accounts + Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) App Registrations + Event Hub Namespaces + Azure SQL Server and Databases + Azure Redis Cache + Azure Container Apps + Azure App Configuration + Implement and enforce **security and identity best practices** using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault + Develop and maintain automation scripts using **Python and PowerShell** + Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments for performance, availability, cost, and security + Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers + Collaborate with application, architecture, and security teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions + Participate in design reviews, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives **Required Skills & Experience** + 6–10 years of overall IT experience with **strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure** + Proven experience with **Azure DevOps** and CI/CD pipeline implementation + Advanced experience in **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **Bicep and/or Terraform** + Strong understanding of Azure platform services, networking, security, and governance + Proficiency in **Python and PowerShell scripting** + Experience with container-based and serverless architectures + Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools **Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills** + Experience with enterprise-scale Azure environments and landing zones + Knowledge of Azure Well-Architected Framework + Exposure to FinOps or cloud cost optimization practices + Azure certifications such as **AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400** + Experience working in large, multi-vendor or global delivery environments **Behavioral Skills** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities + Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables + Experience mentoring team members and driving best practices
