JOB SUMMARY

Lead collections strategy to minimize losses for the business, covering all parts of Collection Strategy, including Contact Strategy, Hardship Programs, and Portfolio Analytics.Manage and Develop a large team of 15+ collection analystsDesign, enhance, and execute and end to end collection strategy across phone, email, push notification, and letter strategies. Build and optimize hardship programs in support of financially distressed customers, matching programs to customer needs. Create a strong risk management and control culture to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and policy requirementsCommunicate effectively and clearly with senior stakeholders and external partners

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

10+ years of relevant industry expertise in a portfolio of large-scale accountsBroad based knowledge of collections and recoveries regulatory requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with senior leadership as well as junior analystsAbility to lead the design and build out of a multi-channel collections strategy, that both lowers losses and maximizes customer experience to include experience in digital outreach, web and app experience, channel segmentation and optimization, and digital conversion ratesExperience in design and implementation of digital self-servicing tools that prevent excessive contact center calls and maximize loss mitigation in a large portfolioExperience in design and execution of a credit testing strategy utilizing risk models and decision tree frameworksExperience in design, implementation and optimization of hardship/workout programs that meet regulatory requirementsBachelors degree in relevant discipline. Masters Degree preferred.
