Enterprise EMR Solution Specialist
**Overview** **Resolve EMR Issues.** **Educate End Users.** **Implement System Updates.** The Enterprise EMR Solutions Specialist’s primary responsibility is to work with company employees, leaders, and vendor partners to resolve Homecare Homebase Office Operations functions. This role manages process questions, specialized access requests, and system issues. You will utilize system knowledge, experience, and documentation to educate end users to reduce recurrent issues and implement direct system updates to support resolution and large-scale process changes. **As an Enterprise EMR Solutions Specialist, You Will:** + Provide remote resolution for all Homecare Homebase and Office Operation process questions, specialized access requests, and system issues. + Manage a work queue with minimal supervision using ServiceNow help desk software, identifying and troubleshooting complex issues independently. + Search internal and external documentation to resolve end user or system-generated issues and ensure adherence to company guidelines and policy. + Escalate problems and report anomalies to senior staff in a timely and efficient manner. + Monitor critical situations and software bugs, alerting senior staff when necessary. + Facilitate communication with EMR vendor(s) on resolution, as requested. + Identify potential write-offs and coordinate with revenue cycle and branch leadership on necessary steps to resolution. + Contribute to departmental process changes and documentation. + Provide analysis of identified workflows in the EMR environment and properly diagnose key problems to discover improvement opportunities. + Execute large-scale process changes within the EMR, including building, testing, validating, and maintaining applications to conform to desired workflows. + Utilize system knowledge, experience, and documentation to educate end-users on proper application use to prevent repeat errors. + Collaborate with relevant super users and management in the design and development of role-based training programs to support the workflow to be implemented. + Manage assigned special projects as requested. **About You** **Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:** + 3+ years of experience in hospice and/or home health fields. + 1-2 years of Homecare Homebase experience required. + Experience in planning, leading, and directing complex operational initiatives. + Knowledge of Hospice and Home Health rules, regulations, and CoPs. + Ability to work independently or as a member of a team. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. + Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. + Detail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. + Ability to follow written processes and adapt to changes in the work environment. + Ability to manage competing demands and perform effectively amid frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. **Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):** + Bachelors Degree + Prior experience with large-scale EMR process change implementations. + Experience developing role-based end-user training programs. **We Offer** **Benefits for All Associates (Full-Time & Per Diem):** * Competitive Pay * 401(k) with Company Match * Career Advancement Opportunities * National & Local Recognition Programs * Teammate Assistance Fund **Additional Full-Time Benefits:** * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance * Generous Paid Time Off + 7 Paid Holidays * Company-paid Life & Long-Term Disability Insurance * Mileage Reimbursement or Fleet Vehicle Program * Education Support & Tuition Assistance * Free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) * Wellness Programs (Telemedicine, Diabetes Management, Joint & Spine Concierge Care) * Voluntary Benefits (Pet, Critical Illness, Accident, LTC) **Apply today and help support operational and EMR initiatives that improve workflows and end-user experience.** **Legalese** + This is a safety-sensitive position + Employee must meet minimum requirements to be eligible for benefits + Where applicable, employee must meet state specific requirements + We are proud to be an EEO employer + We maintain a drug-free workplace ReqID: 2026-136441 Category: Corporate Position Type: Full-Time Company: Gentiva
