Operations Research and Effectiveness (ORE) is an in-house consulting division at the Emirates Group. It is responsible for enhancing our performance by managing complex and critical projects across all business units. ORE delivers significant business benefits from the services strategy, organizational design, process excellence, customer experience, innovation/digital, project management, and business performance.

The role of the Enterprise Effectiveness Manager - Emiratisation will drive and influence business performance through strong partnership and collaboration with business units. They will enable the delivery of our corporate objectives by partnering with the business to identify their strategic challenges and priorities to deliver them. They will manage and deliver projects and enhance performance to enable simpler, more efficient, practical, and productive ways of conducting business. They will be responsible for facilitating change across people, processes, and systems.

In this role, you will: Cross functional projects/programmes - Be accountable for leading a number of strategic, complex, and cross-functional projects and programmes. This includes defining scope, identifying and managing stakeholders from project initiation to closure. Ensure delivery of value by enhancing business performance through consultation, collaboration, projects, and support activities across our service lines - strategy, organisational design, process excellence, customer experience, innovation/digital, project management, and business performance. Business improvement projects - Identify, recommend, and implement business improvement projects and initiatives to deliver the strategic business plans. Collaborate, support, and in some cases initiate with the business and relevant business partners to focus on high impact, far-reaching, and potentially high-conflict projects. Fully support performance and productivity enhancements to deliver sustainable growth whilst remaining agile. Stakeholder management - Proactively manage relationships with the stakeholders to drive close collaboration and partnership to rapidly resolve issues and concerns and mitigate risks. Conduct post-implementation reviews on high priority projects to ensure that the intended benefits to the business are realised. Business intelligence - Guide and enable relevant stakeholders across all operational areas by providing business intelligence summaries and drill into specific operational processes, highlighting trends in order to take corrective measures. Best practice - Be fully informed of industry standards/processes and proactively inspire the adoption of best practice through continuous challenge of status quo to enable effective management of growth. Develop working knowledge of emerging trends in digital, analytics, and innovation and keep abreast of industry trends. Knowledge management - Ensure project deliverables are documented and posted on the ORE KM site to enable collaboration, sharing, and knowledge/skills transfer across the department. People management - Coach and motivate the project team in a selection of tools, techniques, and consulting methodologies. Provide performance-related feedback for the team working with the job holder and suggest development opportunities to address gaps, if any. Active participation in a service line team - Act as a coach and mentor to the business and key partners to transfer skills and specialist knowledge from the service development line. Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

Bachelor's degree or honours in any of the following fields: Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics. Eight years of relevant work experience in consulting, strategy, design thinking, business improvement, aviation or travel industries sectors preferred. Basic knowledge of innovation techniques, programme management, customer relationship management, and emerging digital trends. Advanced knowledge of process improvement, organisation design, project management, business planning and analysis, and organisational impact of emerging themes. Expert level user of tools such as Excel and PowerPoint and ability to develop convincing presentations. Familiarity with advanced BI tools will be a plus. Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into simple proposals. Knowledge of project, programme, and portfolio management practices, tools, and techniques. Experience managing complex programmes and projects. Experience in design and delivery of project management training and coaching programmes. Deployment of business unit project portfolios using defined standards, governance, and tools application. Establish project governance structures and processes for complex medium to large projects. Experience of managing internal and external stakeholders including developing relationships and managing expectations with particular emphasis on being able to negotiate and influence middle to senior executive management.
