Enterprise Data Quality Analyst
Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

 

We are seeking a technically strong Data Quality Analyst who can take ownership of building and implementing data quality rules within a Data Quality tool. This role will be key to operationalizing data quality processes across the bank by combining strong SQL/Python skills with deep hands-on experience in data profiling, rule creation, and monitoring.


Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data quality rules, checks, and scorecards within a DQ tool (e.g., Informatica DQ, Collibra, Ataccama etc.)Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with business data owners to translate requirements into technical DQ rules and thresholdsUse SQL and Python to support custom rule logic and data manipulation where neededVisualize and communicate data quality results using tools like Tableau or Power BIAutomate monitoring and alerting for data quality exceptionsDocument DQ rules, logic, and data issue workflows for traceability and auditsParticipate in root cause analysis and partner with data stewards and engineering teams to drive resolutionProvide input into data governance initiatives, including data lineage, metadata management, and stewardship workflows
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, or similar

Proven hands-on experience building rules and scorecards in a Data Quality tool (e.g., Informatica DQ, Ataccama, Collibra DQ, etc.)Strong knowledge and proficiency in SQLProficiency in Python for data manipulation and automationExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIStrong understanding of data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, etc.)Ability to translate business data needs into technical DQ specificationsExperience working with large datasets, ideally in financial services or bankingKnowledge of data governance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR) is a plusKey Skills & Attributes:An agile mindset with experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban environmentsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data discrepanciesStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLeadership qualities and interest in mentoring junior team members and driving data quality initiativesNice to Have:Familiarity with data catalog or metadata toolsExposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating DQ processes into data workflows

The base pay for this position is generally between $120,000 and $180,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
