We are looking for a focused Enterprise Data Operator for the Ferguson Home team to continuously add new products to the FergusonHome.com site and update the content of our product pages. The Enterprise Data Operator will need to communicate with employees within the company with professionalism. The Enterprise Data Operator will translate and manipulate data provided in projects in a timely and accurate manner. They will identify and correct errors to meet Ferguson's high standard of quality. All Operators will need to maintain a professional and contributing attitude.
This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities:Manages multiple data tasks within set deadlines, utilizing Excel, SQL, SharePoint, and product category knowledgeTake on data tasks including new product adds, product enrichments, and overhaulsFollow department standards, so that customer pages reflect the most current information available such as following category style guides, adhering to pricing rules, and reviewing Taxonomy guidelinesCommunicate well with others within and outside job areaRespond to constructive criticism and feedback in a professional mannerThoroughly reading all forms of communication that pertain to the department and taking any necessary actionOrganizing and keeping all programs/software up to dateTime Management: Must be able to effectively multitask and organize one's day in accordance with the required tasks at handQualifications:Experience with Microsoft Excel is requiredProblem solving, identification, and analysis skills including the capability to routinely Self QA workAttention to detail: Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and basic math skillsAbility to work within provided instruction and time constraints without direct supervisionWillingness to learn new processesEffectively communicate issues and status of tasks; occasionally escalates issues and recommends solutions to higher level associates or team leadCapacity to learn; retain information; knowing, understanding, and improving upon available resourcesComfortable communicating with individuals via video, chat, email, or phoneDemonstrates efficient organization and time management skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsEducation/Training/Experience - High school diploma or GED required; one or more years of relative experience or intermediate competencies with Office 365, Excel, project management tools such as JIRA or Airtable, SQL, and SSMS, and PhotoshopFerguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
