Join the Walgreens Enterprise Architecture team and help shape the future of retail and supply chain technology at one of the nation’s largest pharmacy and retail networks.
This is a senior-level role offering significant autonomy and influence. As part of a highly strategic and agile architecture team, you will help define and evolve the enterprise reference architecture and lead its application across Walgreens’ retail and supply chain systems. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with customer and operational needs—transforming real-world challenges into scalable, sustainable outcomes.
You’ll serve as a thought leader and change agent—diving deep into existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for modernization and simplification, and guiding teams across functions to align with enterprise strategies. Your work will directly impact the performance, agility, and customer experience of Walgreens' retail and supply chain platforms.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in enterprise and solution architecture, hands-on software engineering expertise, and the ability to operate across a broad and complex technology and organizational landscape.

Performs systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation for most complex technologies.Acts as advocate for change to provide innovative, creative technology solutions. Prepares and delivers presentations to top-level management on new technology and its impact on the organization.Oversees the creation of design documents that ensure consistency in development across the organization.Serves as a technical and business-savvy resource to engineering personnel on a wide range of design issues.Implements and improves core architectural infrastructure.
