Job Summary:\rThe Enterprise Architect is a crucial member of the Enterprise Architecture team, responsible for designing and implementing robust IT architecture solutions that support our mission to deliver world-class healthcare. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with the Executive Director of Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.\rAn Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining architecture models that align with Wellstar's business objectives and IT strategy. This role involves evaluating and integrating new technologies into the existing architecture to ensure seamless interoperability and scalability. The Enterprise Architect establishes and enforces architectural standards and best practices across IT projects, working closely with various IT and business teams to understand requirements and provide architectural solutions that meet their needs. Additionally, the role includes creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the enterprise architecture, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.\rThe Enterprise Architect identifies opportunities for innovation and improvement within the IT architecture, driving efficiency and effectiveness. They assess and mitigate risks associated with architectural decisions and implementations, providing technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation within the IT architecture.\rCore Responsibilities and Essential Functions:\rDefine architecture designs of enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.\rConduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical due diligence for new projects and solutions.\rDevelop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and best practices to support business goals.\rFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement with peers and partner teams.\rDocument and communicate architecture designs, decisions, and roadmaps effectively.\rPerforms other duties as assigned\rComplies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.\rRequired Minimum Education:Bachelors Computer Science or Masters Information Technology-Preferred\rRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):\rAll certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.\rAdditional License(s) and Certification(s):\rRequired Minimum Experience:\rMinimum 7 years Software engineering or software architecture Required\rProven experience breaking down large business problem statements into bite-sized technical solutions. Required\rExpertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architecture. Required\rExpertise in microservices, API management, DevOps, and containerization technologies. Required\rExperience designing and implementing enterprise integration strategies. Required\rExperience leading project or product management. Preferred\rExperience with healthcare platforms. Preferred\rRequired Minimum Skills:\rStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology with business strategy.\rExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\rCertification in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).\rIn-depth understanding of IT security principles, data governance, and regulatory compliance.\rKnowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on healthcare.\rKnowledge of AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain technologies.Join us and discover the support to do more meaningful work—and enjoy a more rewarding life.
