The Role

Join Kyndryl’s CIO Enterprise Architecture team as an Enterprise Architect for Data, where you’ll lead the strategy and execution of architectural metadata across key platforms including Signavio, LeanIX, and Collibra. This role bridges business architecture and technical design, ensuring that data objects, capabilities, and processes are accurately modeled and aligned with enterprise goals.

You’ll collaborate with domain-focused architects, data and technical architecture teams, and business leaders to define metadata standards, maintain data quality, and drive integration across tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the enterprise’s metadata vision and support strategic portfolio assessments through robust reporting and governance.

As an ideal candidate you'll bring a strong foundation in enterprise architecture tools, a passion for data quality and governance, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead the definition, integration, and governance of architectural metadata across Signavio, LeanIX, and Collibra.Implement synchronization strategies between architecture tools to ensure consistent and high-quality metadata.Collaborate with Application Architects, Data Architects, and Enterprise Architects to define and capture metadata and identify gaps.Develop and communicate a strategic vision for enterprise metadata, including presentations for leadership.Design and oversee operational plans that maintain data quality and support portfolio assessments.

The compensation range for this position in the US is $138,480 to $263,160 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.  The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans.  You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off.  Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills:

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data governance, or metadata management within large-scale IT environments.Proficiency in architecture tools such as Signavio, LeanIX, and Collibra, with hands-on experience in configuring, integrating, and maintaining metadata.Strong understanding of data objects and capabilities, including how they relate to business processes and application portfolios.Experience with data quality frameworks, including defining and applying measurable standards across enterprise tools.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and domain architects, data teams, and business stakeholders.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate architectural vision and metadata strategy to leadership.Familiarity with enterprise governance models, compliance requirements, and operational planning in architecture environments.Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to metadata lifecycle management and portfolio assessment support.
