**Job Summary**
As an Java Application Support Engineer, your primary role is to provide comprehensive IT services, including system maintenance, user support with a focus on Microservices-based systems, while also assisting in IT security, requiring strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
**Job Requirements**
+ Proficiency in Java/J2EE, OOP/OOD, and SQL
+ Experience with Spring Boot, Ant, Maven, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure, and Kubernetes/Docker
+ Familiarity with Microservices architecture
+ Knowledge of MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL, Oracle, Weblogic App server, and Apache HTTP
+ Strong command of Unix commands
+ Desirable: Proficiency in Python scripting
+ Ability to perform weekly release activities and data reconciliation and audit tasks
+ Competence in handling data feeds, interfaces, and conducting Root Cause Analysis for Priority1/Priority2 incidents
+ Proficient in ticket management using SNOW for triage, prioritization, assignment, tracking, and closure
+ Experience in generating weekly and monthly reports
+ Competency in Problem Management, Incident quality, and Change Management processes
+ Willingness to provide 24x7 production support and participate in on-call rotations.
**Education**
+ Good to have 2 - 5 years of experience working in large technology teams
+ B-Tech in computer science, engineering or relevant field.
+ Extensive technical experience in IT application technology domain.
