Collaborate with innovative minds to successfully implement financial strategies that make an impact on a global scale. **A day in the Life:** + Partner with Operations leaders to drive operational performance, including setting direction on plant efficiency, operating expenses (Plant and Non-plant, direct and indirect), sourcing spend, capital expenditures (growth and maintenance) and inventory + Contribute strategic insight and drive execution of integration activities related to the Division joining Thermo Fisher Scientific + Drive the needed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational rhythm to assure accountability for global COGS, Inventory, working capital performance vs. plan + You will lead our standard cost roll process and physical inventory/cycle count program + Ensure compliance with financial standards related to COGS, inventory and Capital + Attract, develop, and retain talent. Lead team of 7+ finance and cost accounting professionals **Keys to Success:** + Superb communication and teamwork abilities. + Ability to simplify complex topics and work well under pressure. **Education** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university, or equivalent experience. **Experience** + 10 years providing finance partnership within large scale, global companies (5 years associated with manufacturing environments) **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Expertise with ERP and financial consolidation systems (ie. SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion), large data sets, and financial modeling. + Ability to interact and connect with people at all levels. Have courage to communicate complicated issues and collaborate across teams. **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** This role requires the ability to work onsite with up to 30% domestic/international travel.
