**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25200343 **Job Category** Engineering & Facilities **Location** The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Fari Islands, North Male Atoll, Male, Maldives, Maldives, 20013VIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=The%20Ritz-Carlton%20Maldives%20Fari%20Islands%2C%20North%20Male%20Atoll%2C%20Male%2C%20Maldives%2C%20Maldives%2C%2020013) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** N **Position Type** Non-Management **POSITION SUMMARY** + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, F&B outlets, and public areas as required, including CARE, RPM, and GCPM programs. + Maintain guest rooms in accordance with approved preventive maintenance procedures, checklists, and standard guidelines. + Build, install, repair, and maintain walls and partitions, including drywall, wallpaper, millwork/molding, and faux finishes. + Install, repair, and maintain surface finishes such as laminates and similar materials. + Perform rough-in framing for doors, door frames, windows, cabinetry, and related structures. + Replace defective or damaged light fixtures, lamps, and bulbs as required. + Inspect, repair, and maintain grout and caulking in bathrooms and wet areas. + Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tightening loose fixtures, toilet seats, and fittings; patching holes in walls; and making basic surface repairs. + Conduct general cleaning of guestroom surfaces, including bathtubs, wall tiles, hard floors, walls, windows, and mirrors. + Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures, including partitions, doors, furniture, and fixtures throughout the property. + Carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks such as tightening loose fixtures, replacing light bulbs, and patching wall surfaces. + Order required materials and supplies by preparing requisitions, obtaining managerial approvals, and coordinating with approved vendors. + Load, transport, and unload materials and freight using hand trucks and elevators to designated work areas. + Comply with all company policies, safety, and security procedures at all times. + Identify, report, and respond to maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries promptly. + Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and guests. + Perform other reasonable duties and tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
