Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to learn about the intricacies of Utility and Real Property management on a large Air Force Base that is one of the largest airplane maintenance depots in the Air Force.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reviewing and gathering facility data from Excel files, AutoCAD, and GIS sourcesCoordinating walkthroughs with facility managers and scheduling site visitsConducting full-building inventories by recording data for every room. Collecting multiple data points including wall configurations, room usage, and occupant information.Measuring and documenting wall changes and space modifications during walkthroughsEntering data into Excel and assembling comprehensive inventory packets with drawings and mapsReading utility meters each month during a 7-day window; documenting and submitting dataBalancing both facility inventory and meter reading schedules effectivelyInvestigating inconsistencies or missing data and resolving them independentlyWorking in a dynamic environment with evolving procedures and workflows

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and data entryKeen attention to detail and investigative mindsetAbility to read floor plans, drawings, and basic facility mapsComfortable using measurement tools and collecting dimensional dataPhysical ability to:Walk long distances dailyGet in and out of vehicles frequentlyClimb ladders and crouch into small spacesWork outdoors in all weatherLift heavy vault lids (up to ~25 lbs)

Excellent time and task management to juggle building walkthroughs and monthly meter readingsA flexible mindset that can adapt quickly to changing procedures and project demandsAbility to obtain a Contractor Badge for Base access on a daily basis. A DOD clearance is helpful but NOT required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Proficiency in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)Potential candidates must attend an in-person interview with the Parsons Field Team on Tinker Air Force Base to get a true idea of the details of the position.

Salary Range: $21.88 - $38.27
