We are seeking a Engineering Technician for a future funded role to provide tier 2 and 3 system support, assist the Government by providing large scale computer systems for hardware failures and applicable optimizations. Additionally, provide management of board processes which include on-site and off- site depot coordination, troubleshooting and fault isolation.\n

Position requires an active TS\/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.\n

Required Skills:\n

Experience with the following:\n\nProviding system assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting and shipping.\nProviding system and component assembly, disassembly, unit testing, life cycle support, transition to operations.\nAssisting with software upgrades as requested by the Government\nAssisting with software maintenance teams to troubleshoot software defects (at the Government's discretion).\nSupport software\/TAG upgrades\nMonitoring operational capability of large-scale computer systems and the health of systems using Government-provided tools. Includes power, cooling and applications.\nWatching status screens to detect hardware or application failures that reduce processing capability.\nAlert appropriate support personnel when alert detected. Record their timeframes.\nProviding daily pass-down reports to next shift and Government personnel.\nInterface with facilities personnel (Government and contractor) to assure continuous system operation.\nTrack daily metrics and provide monthly status report. Report all SW problems to appropriate teams. Provide daily progress\/status reports by shift to appropriate Government personnel.\nAssisting the Government with improving requalification test and processes to improve systems stability and longevity.\nParticipating with familiarization training and other forms of training as required to support operational systems.\nParticipating with team meetings to ensure integration planning and maintenance implementation meet Government support requirements\n\n
