Job Description

Responsibilities
+ Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of components.
+ Troubleshoot and repair engineering support systems using mechanical and electrical knowledge.
+ Utilize soldering skills and oscilloscopes for prototype assembly.
+ Review customer equipment and identify subsystem experiences.
+ Conduct critical inspections to review incoming products and determine field failures.
+ Assist with Root Cause and Correction Analysis (RCCA) alongside team members.
+ Report trends in failures and components to the Quality Assurance department.
+ Apply meticulous and consistent methods and processes in assembly.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical troubleshooting and electrical skills.
+ Proficiency in using schematic diagrams, oscilloscopes, and technical drawings.
+ Experience with mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and calibration.
+ Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform electrical mechanical assembly and soldering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-year technical degree preferred.
+ Experience with small electronics is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with industries such as Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, and Military.
+ Experience as a mechanic or in maintenance is advantageous.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
