We are seeking a hands-on and highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be essential to ensuring optimal performance of our distribution operations by troubleshooting equipment, enhancing maintenance procedures, and collaborating with engineering on process improvement. This is a leadership-level technician position requiring mechanical and electrical expertise, critical thinking, and initiative.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and calibrations; author procedures as neededMonitor spare parts inventory and manage procurementTroubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce downtime and improve yieldMaintain and repair PC and PLC-controlled automation systemsDesign and implement upgrades to tooling and equipment for process reliabilityRevise documentation to reflect improved practices and methodologiesCollaborate with vendors for the acquisition and installation of necessary equipmentSupport validation planning, execution, and reporting alongside engineeringParticipate in Value Improvement Projects to optimize cost efficiencyAnalyze production data to drive scrap reduction and enhance performanceInterface with internal teams to improve material quality and deliveryTrain and guide warehouse staff and technicians on equipment and processesRequired Qualifications3–5 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalentStrong electrical and mechanical skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityProven initiative and ability to improve processes proactivelyEffective communicator with strong interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsAA Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline with 8–10 years of experienceExperience with automated conveyor and print/apply systemsPLC troubleshooting experience—preferably Allen BradleyExperience in distribution operationsExposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologiesFamiliarity with Zebra industrial printersPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $50.00/hr.
