Job Title: Engineering Technician (1st Shift)
Job Description

Responsibilities
+ Set up and troubleshoot SMT machines.
+ Perform basic programming and have familiarity with machine operations.
+ Conduct rework and manage components such as capacitors.
+ Support the entire department, including working with Fuji equipment.
+ Execute customer projects, including engineering builds and data collection for reports.
+ Support senior engineers with project execution.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
+ High school diploma required; AA or AS degree preferred.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting at the component level.
+ Experience with electronics and manufacturing equipment.
+ Ability to work independently and maintain high work quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with IPC 610 or J standard certifications is a plus.
+ Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Outlook.
+ Ability to train others and handle small parts and tools.
+ Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma principles is preferred.
+ Eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment.
Work Environment
The position is based on a 1st shift schedule starting between 7-8 am or a 2nd shift starting between 1-2 pm. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in an exciting and growing industry. The role offers 10 paid holidays and 5 days of accrued PTO. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time. The work requires standing or sitting for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.86 - $32.32/hr.
