Engineering Supervisor

· Responsible for maintenance issues within the hotel

· Perform daily checks around the hotel

· Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required

· Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel

· Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

· Responsible for the health and safety of the hotel

· Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly

· Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plants and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.

· Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.

· Supports the implementation of Hyatt Brand Standards, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.

· Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.

· Always exercises responsible behaviour and positively represents the hotel team and Hyatt International.

· Maintains strong, professional relationship with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations.

· Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and understand and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

· Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

· Bachelor’s degree and/or certification in engineering, or related field preferred.

· 2-4 years of progressive hotel operations experience

· Proven track record in improving operational performance.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Previous experience with international hospitality brands preferred

· Bachelor’s degree and/or certification in engineering, or related field preferred.

· 2-4 years of progressive hotel operations experience

· Proven track record in improving operational performance.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Previous experience with international hospitality brands preferred
