As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Serve as the technical authority for automation, IaC, and DevOps practices across the enterprise

Define and maintain enterprise standards, frameworks, and best practices for Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD

Provide architectural guidance and design reviews for cloud automation solutions

Lead complex initiatives involving multi-cloud automation (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Support teams in troubleshooting high-impact or complex automation and deployment issues

Collaborate with Security and Governance teams to ensure compliance and policy alignment

Mentor senior and junior engineers; contribute to technical upskilling across teams

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and improvements to enterprise DevOps platforms

Produce and maintain authoritative technical documentation, patterns, and reference architectures

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in automation, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles

Deep hands-on expertise with Ansible Automation in enterprise environments

Advanced proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and multi-environment deployments

Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) at scale

Expert-level understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and modern delivery models

Proven experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms

Strong knowledge of Linux systems, scripting (Bash, Python), and Git-based workflows

Ability to influence technical direction and drive adoption of standards across large organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience working in large, complex, or regulated enterprise environments

Familiarity with:

Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud-native tools)

Security and governance frameworks in cloud environments

Relevant certifications (Terraform, Ansible, Azure, AWS, GCP, or DevOps)

Experience contributing to platform engineering teams or Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE)
