Daikin Applied is seeking an Engineering Project Manager. The Engineering Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

What you will do:

Lead new Product Development Engineering teams and collaborate with multiple functions to define, develop, and deploy strategic initiatives and/or product roadmaps that maximize the value of the business and profitability of new productsEnsure functional commitments are achieved, strong understanding of Product Development Engineering deliverables within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters. Understand Key Engineering Product Requirements and Deliverables: PVSR, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&RPlan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applicationsRigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parametersEstablish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessaryConfer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authorityCoordinate project activities regarding government regulations or other governmental agencies, such as required project permittingReview status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required, including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, and Project Analysis through required project documentationEstablish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviewsPrepare project reports for management, client, or othersMaintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost and timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfactionMaintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staffObtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customerAssist Coordinator in obtaining required sub-contract Agreements or project documents required for file

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical degree strongly preferred. Exceptions possible with strong technical new product development experience8+ years of experience in Technical, Engineering, Project Management and/or Project EngineeringWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$141,700 + 10% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
