Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Project Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the engineering sector, supporting innovative projects in the energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Qidong, China, and contribute to high-impact engineering solutions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Role Overview Support the Engineering Project Manager (EPM) in defining and developing discipline scope by understanding and evaluating project requirements. Ensure the project team is aware of project requirements and specifications, delivering designs that meet project needs, corporate standards, and industry regulations. Collaborate with EPM and Discipline Leads to prepare the engineering schedule and manpower planning, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones. Develop the scope of work for subcontractors and ensure effective interface management. Assist in resolving discipline issues between relevant Discipline Leads and stakeholders in Construction, Procurement, and Project Controls. Establish and maintain close working relationships with EPM, Project Management Team, Operations, Procurement, Construction, and Clients. Monitor all interfaces with Class Society/other regulatory bodies to ensure timely review of requirements. Assist in preparing project close-out documentation including as-built documentation and engineering close-out reports. Track and coordinate changes with Discipline Leads, ensuring adherence to the management of change process. Proactively identify areas likely to change to minimize added costs and delays. Ensure engineering deliverables meet required quality and safety standards through regular reviews and checks. Skills & Qualifications Project Engineering: Strong understanding of project requirements and specifications. Design Engineering: Ability to deliver designs that meet corporate standards and industry regulations. Schedule Management: Proficient in preparing engineering schedules and manpower planning. Interface Management: Experience in managing interfaces with subcontractors and regulatory bodies. Change Management: Skilled in tracking changes and coordinating with various stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet safety standards. Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Certifications: Relevant engineering certifications are a plus. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
