Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in metals manufacturing with some level of plant operational management.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the manufacture of Titanium / Aluminum parts
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%, both domestic and international
- Six Sigma Black Belt
-Project Management experience of large scale capex projects

This position will play an important role in the Howmet Engines organization working with the Structural Titanium and Aluminum (STiAl) Plants around the world that produce complex Castings, assisting them with standardization of technology, new part introduction (NPI) Project managing and driving engineering best practices across the STiAl Casting facilities.
Responsibilities
- Share knowledge of all aspects of the Investment Casting process and the major customer specifications required on the parts produced.
- Through a dotted line reporting structure, work with the Engineering and Opex Managers at the various STiAl Casting facilities, serving as a technical expert
- Build credibility with key resources both internally and externally with our global customer base.
- Partner with the Corporate Sales / Marketing team to establish / prioritize target customers, programs, and parts through technology-based value propositions.
- Drive and influence change where needed to support execution of overall STiAl segment strategy.
Through a dotted line reporting structure, work with the Engineering Managers at the StiAl Casting facilities to:-
- Develop processes needed to produce the complex parts at the required quality and lowest cost possible.
- - Identify and assist in implementing the best technology and world class manufacturing practices among the STiAl locations.
- Act as the Technical Expert for the STiAl plants as required for customer interactions.
- Partner with Plant Leadership to outline succession plans for the various Plant Engineering organizations within the STiAl Segment
- Casting Development & Technology Leadership responsibility for STiAl Castings
- Develop produce line specific standardized processes across locations to ensure rapid and robust process supporting work transfer leveraging the STiAl global footprint
