Lenovo Workstations provide powerful solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and design excellence in key vertical segments such as Engineering/Architecture/CAD, Media & Entertainment, Science, Medical, Energy, and Finance.

To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are looking to enhance our team with additional talent. We are currently seeking a senior level program manager to drive Workstation product execution within limits of US export restrictions. This program manager position will help manage worldwide compliance starting from initial product development through to manufacturing enablement.   

What You'll Do

Lead the program management of Workstation/Gaming products and technology initiatives subject to export control regulations, ensuring overall business alignment and compliance.Drive program strategy, coordinating interrelated projects and managing key interdependencies to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.Collaborate with Architects and Engineering to guide the design and development of innovative products and solutions that meet compliance and market requirements.Provide cross-functional program leadership across Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Assurance, Development, Software, and Service teams.Develop and maintain program documentation, including compliance records, integrated timelines, and risk assessments.Create, manage, and track high-level program schedules, milestone alignment, and critical paths across multiple workstreams.Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOW) for vendors and suppliers in support of program objectives.Manage external suppliers and partners to ensure alignment with program schedules and deliverables.Oversee and escalate resolution of cross-project issues including regulatory changes, product bugs/defects, and resource or execution conflicts.Provide regular updates on program status, risk posture, and mitigation plans.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); technical or engineering discipline preferred.5+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.10+ years of overall technical experience, ideally in the PC or Workstation industry.Experience in supplier and partner relationship management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

As a global company, Lenovo has relationships with suppliers and teams throughout the world. This position may require morning/evening meetings which occur outside normal working hours, and candidates must be agreeable to a flexible work schedule.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

7+ years of program or senior project management experience.Proven ability to manage large-scale programs involving multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholders.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with export compliance and regulated product development processes. 

This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC.  Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates that are already local to Raleigh, NC are preferred.
