1. Provide engineering leadership and guidance to the JLL WD Account based teams on issues relating to IFM and Engineering.
2. Provide SME inputs to Sales and Solutions Development teams and the Engineering Solutions leads for the region and help shape and provide needed leveraged delivery
3. Participate in major bids and represent the IFM and EO Centre of Expertise.
4. Build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote JLL’s Engineering Operations platform and provide a key linkage between the wider JLL organisation and client representatives.
5. Monitor market trends and changes to ensure that JLL provides industry best practice in the delivery of Engineering and IFM services.
6. Ensure that all Japan WD Accounts and critical sites have an annual compliance/audit program in place and to ensure JCAP assessments and audits are conducted across a representative sample of sites under management. Personally attend a minimum of 5 building audits annually in order to demonstrate team leadership and provide training.
7. Establish, review and actively engage top 10 accounts in Japan in Engineering support, optimisation and transition and support deployment of Engineering Products in the hub such as Capital Asset Renewal and JLL’s Reliability Centred Maintenance program called Precision Maintenance+
8. Actively work on implementation of maintenance delivery strategies and digitised maintenance platforms such as Corrigo
9. Implement standard business operating mechanisms such as regular team meetings, strategic review forums, training conferences and regular analysis and reporting processes to ensure team engagement and alignment and to provide an effective and efficient business operation in Engineering across Japan as a whole and support North Asia as bet practice
10. Serve as an IFM and EO SME in building operations and incident management ensuring that proper CAPAs are implemented and read across to similar sites and industries
11. Actively participate in Engineering Operations activities by attending required meetings and developing and implementing programs and procedures on a priority basis so as to support the Engineering platform and strategy.
12. Support and promote JLL’s Incident Manager and the implementation of JLL’s standard Incident Management procedures to ensure a consistent approach is adopted across the region and that all relevant incidents are recorded via JLL’s incident reporting system.
13. Ensure that all facility teams have access to and follow standardised policies and procedures for all aspects of building operations including implementation where applicable JLL’s Maintenance Management Systems such as Corrigo or Permit to Work Systems such as JLL Onsite.
14. Provide technical advice and consultancy to client representative and the JLL facilities management and Engineering Operations teams as required. Attend QBRs and MMRs for major accounts in hub as far as reasonably achievable
15. Work in collaboration and partnership with the Head of Critical Environments in supporting implementation of CEM program in Japan and act as a key representative in the Hub’s CEM Council
16. Establish and ensure provision of regular IFM & Engineering related trainings to relevant Work Dynamics team members to support relevancy of technical skills in the accounts
17. Actively work on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in conjunction with employee pipeline progression plans to ensure high levels of motivation across hub staff.
