Location: Plymouth, MN in office 5 days per week

 

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2026

Essential Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for component standardizationConduct cost-benefit and requirements analysis to minimize unnecessary part variationPerform component testing and provide recommendations to reduce design complexityDevelop reporting tools or libraries to manage and mitigate part proliferation

Minimum Qualifications:

Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or relatedExperience with viewing CAD drawingsWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionExperience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Statistical understandingKnowledge of SolidWorksReside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $27/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
