Site Name: Singapore - Jurong Posted Date: Aug 29 2025 Purpose To plan, lead and manage team of Project Engineers and Project execution teams to implement capital projects and ensure compliance with local regulations, Project Management Framework (PMF), Engineering Standard (ES), Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Standard and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Responsibilities Manage a team of project engineers and designers, including external contractors, to ensure capital projects delivery. Plan and facilitate annual Physical condition assessment for Plant and Facilities and map actions plans with Area owners and stakeholders. Develop Site Facility Investment Plan (FIP) considering the outcome from Plant & Facilities condition assessment and other prioritised Site Strategies. Lead and facilitate the monthly Pre-Growth Forum, Growth Forum, and Project compliance Forum effectively to seek endorsement on project proposal and project compliance maters. Ensure pre-reads are sent in advance to key stakeholders for review. Plan and submit Project documentations (Justification Paper / PIP) to above site Capital Review Forums for Projects > £500K Work with project manager from individual functions to develop PIP and ensure timely approval of PIPs. Lead and manage the implementation of major and minor capital projects with in-house project team and external partners / vendors. Drive and promote effective delivery of capital projects through Project Management Framework (PMF) and adoption of project management tools till project closure and asset capitalization. Direct and control the implementation and execution of the Product Contamination Cause and Elimination (PCCE) program for Jurong and Quality Road. Monitor Capex process and maintain inspection readiness of the section to ensure continued audit compliance with Engineering (ES, PMF), EHS and Financial governances by both staff and external authorities.Contribute to the refinement and development of new engineering, qualification, and safety procedures where necessary. Develop and train staff in line with High Performance Behaviours and GER (Global Employee Recognition) scheme. Direct and control the implementation of the GSK Production System (GPS) for Engineering department. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering or relevant disciplines At least 10 years' engineering experience in the chemical/ pharmaceutical industry Led and managed projects worth over GBP$20 million Good understanding of various industrial standards Good understanding of equipment, systems and maintenance Knowledge of best practices in engineering Good understanding of GMP, GEP and EHS requirements Sound commercial knowledge (including contractual law) Demonstrated Project execution and Project Management experience.
