Summary: Seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in livestock trailer design and management to lead product line engineering teams.

Requirements:

Mechanical Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) certification or willingness to obtain Experience leading engineers and drafters Expertise in structural steel or aluminum, off-road truck, automotive, agricultural, or military vehicle design Knowledge of hydraulics, axels, and vehicle weight distribution Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Skills:

Experience overseeing large drafting teams

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage personnel and processes within product line engineering departments Develop cost-effective and safe designs that meet industry standards Collaborate with sales on new design inquiries and feasibility assessments Support manufacturing by ensuring designs are easy to build Maintain conformance to engineering standards and protect proprietary information Handle product line design warranty costs and provide assistance to the warranty department Oversee contract services such as prototype testing

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $142,000.00 per year
