You would be reporting directly to the Complex Director of Property Operations and responsible for managing a team of 3 Engineers. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience working in Maintenance Supervisory role, has 2-3 years experience working in a maintenance background and preference in working in hotels. 

 

Pay Range: The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

In this role you will see yourself managing the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems and life safety systems in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Assign work, supervises staff and verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.Directs outside contractors, communicates with city officials and inspects quality of work by staff.Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.Supervises programs involving electrical, mechanical and general construction, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment, operation of plant utilities.Assigns, supervises, and verifies completion of routine maintenance and operation of physical structure of hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment which contributes to the safe and effective operation of the facility. Visually inspects quality of work and assigns staff and directs outside contractors in tasks according to performance and productivity standards.Hires, disciplines, counsels, trains engineering staff.Communicates effectively with city officials to ensure proper maintenance of permits and licenses, coordinating inspections with the appropriate department.Acts as a liaison between hotel and vendors to review latest in hotel technology and products. Attends Engineering conventions to educates.
