Location Description Moments away from the rest of the world, but a world away from it all, Stonewall Resort is a truly unique lakeside destination for vacations, meetings, weddings, reunions, and romantic getaways. Our rustic yet elegant Adirondack-style lodge and spectacular cottage collection is perched alongside quiet lake waters and the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course, while surrounded by 1,900 picture-perfect, “Close to Nature” park acres. #PGH-SWR Overview This position serves as the primary managerial team member of the team responsible for maintaining all facilities within the resort complex. This position will organize and execute repair and maintenance programs (through in-house and contractor teams) as they apply to physical property, HVAC, electrical distribution and equipment, mechanical equipment, boilers, appliances and all related equipment to assure efficiency, quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Areas of responsibility include all public spaces, meeting rooms, marina, campground, guestrooms, F&B outlets, offices, parking lots, and miscellaneous back of the house areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Carry out the policies and procedures of Stonewall Resort and Pyramid Global Hospitality while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and teamwork atmosphere. Organize and manage staff and contractors engaged in repair and maintenance projects. Perform checks on work quantity and quality of maintenance crews. Ensures daily workload is completed correctly. Makes in-field adjustments to staffing and processes. Develops and maintains preventive maintenance programs. Manages work orders by scheduling completion in an organized, efficient, and effective way. Follow department safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including employee development, safety, and training. Ensures compliance with OSHA laws and that appropriate training records are maintained. Provides oversight along with the Director of Operations of contractor performance with water and waste-water operations. Ensures compliance with WVDEP rules and regulations. Manages fire prevention and protection programs, including inspections, documentation, and training. Ensures reports and submittals are completed on a timely basis. Oversees all pool and spa maintenance operations; cleaning, water chemistry and reporting. Responsible for staff process of interview, hire, scheduling, time approvals, reviews, discipline, and payroll. Ensures that company and resort policies are consistently followed by staff and proper documentation is developed to support. Participates in the preparation of operating and capital budgets. Prepares purchase orders for needed supplies and equipment. Manages two-way radio inventory and key control programs Participates in employee and management safety programs. Member of the Safety Committee and attends meetings monthly Ensures employee adherence to Resort policies and procedures. Participates in (Manager on Duty) MOD program. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and in emergency situations Performs additional tasks as determined necessary by resort leadership. Qualifications Five years hotel or equivalent engineering / service experience. College degree or equivalent vocational training. Must possess excellent communication skills; compute mathematical calculations; read and comprehend blue prints, schematics, and mechanical systems. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel. Electrician, Plumbing or HVAC license a plus.
