Core Responsibilities

Oversee operation of network systems, architecture, and topology through deployment and oversight of network operations specialistsEnsure that all operating systems are adequate, functional, and conform to operation security policies and proceduresAssist with the development and application of business processes to ensure appropriate service levelsDevelop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the NOCParticipate in strategic network planning, steady state operations planning, and development of contingency operation plansPlan and support injection of new technologies and implementation of technology refreshConfer with and advise administrators, user representatives, and technical personnel regarding development and design of integrated network solutionsPrepare recommendations based on monitoring results, tools analyses, and forensicsParticipate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures regarding network equipment, maintenance, and monitoringPrepare status reports
Experience in CI/CD methodologiesExperience supporting and maintaining software-defined infrastructure in a high traffic environment run in cloud environments (AWS preferred)Experience with Linux System Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Alma)Experience scripting in Python or shell languagesExperience with containerization and orchestration services such as EKS, K9S, and Docker.Experience using modern log/metric aggregation software (e.g. CloudWatch, Elasticsearch + Kibana, Splunk, Grafana

Strong knowledge and extensive hands-on with Palo Alto and Cisco products.Solid understanding of production TV workflows with experience integrating video solutions onto large scale networks.Experience investigating issues within broadcast/streaming environments and their integration points to find the root cause of problems or systemic issues.
