Summary: Seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in manufacturing and aerospace to oversee engineering operations and collaborate cross-functionally.
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering field
Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred
Previous managerial experience in an engineering/manufacturing setting
Strong experience in process drawings and GD&T per ASME Y1
4.5 standards
Responsibilities:
Review and approve manufacturing drawings
Collaborate with customers to interpret product requirements and propose development projects
Provide support on new Product Introduction programs by assigning technical resources
Participate in selection, training, appraising, motivating, and rewarding department personnel
Ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed for consistent manufacturing processes
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of various metals including Nickel Alloys, Stainless Steels, Maragin Steels, Alloy Steels
Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing methods such as Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant
Understanding of Mechanical Testing including Tensile Test, Hardness Test, Grain Size, Salt Fog
Hands-on approach with assembly of designs and fixturing
Lean Manufacturing principles
Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
