Job Description

In our Power Control Business campus in Katowice, we're looking for a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers developing modern industrial drives—main components of the Connected Enterprise.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a world-class engineering organization while delivering solutions that help our customers overcome manufacturing challenges and boost productivity.

You will lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, Simulation Engineers, and Documentation Specialists working in an Agile environment.

You'll report directly to the Senior Hardware Manager and play a strategic role with visibility into both local and global operations of the Power Control Business.

You'll work in hybrid work model ( 3 days work from office).

Your Responsibilities:Lead a team of 15-20 engineers and specialists to evolve/create product designs and product solutions and cost-effective.Collaborate with leaders across Engineering, PMO, Product Management, Quality, Industrialization and other.Manage critical issues, make important decisions, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution.Align team members with projects that match their skills and development goals.Develop team and assist them with goal setting and their execution.Coach multiple scrum teams operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).Work with partners and suppliers on product development projects. Build relations and foster collaboration.Ensure product development activities comply with corporate and business-level processes.Promote a continuous improvement mindset.Encourage a positive and inclusive work environment to foster outstanding performance.Work with leadership to understand and implement the vision of a performance-driven and collaborative workplace.Help your team eliminate unnecessary work by leading design capabilities and process improvement activities, optimizing the delivery of customer value, and reducing time-to-market.Create environment that promotes new ideas and effectiveness, fostered by intense collaboration in a hybrid workplace arrangement.

The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.Typically requires minimum 10 years of experience in product development.Minimum of 4 years of technical and people leadership experience.Experience developing technical talents.Experience with product development process, tools and techniques used in mature, complex and reliable solutions.Understanding of modern design and simulation tools.Experience building products and solutions for industrial automation, manufacturing systems or similar applications.Courage, transparency and effectiveness in communication.Experience with Agile / Scrum in a Scaled Agile Framework.Experience in industrial automation product development or related technical areas.Experience working with global team members on multi-location product development.Legal authorization to work in Poland is required.
