Job Description Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying an Engineering Lead with a Professional Engineering license and a strong background in the wastewater industry to lead a team of 3–4 engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of utility water and wastewater projects at local, national, and international levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about engineering, enjoys mentoring others, and is eager to grow their career in land development, water resources, and environmental engineering. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 engineers, establishing project goals and deadlines • Plan, design, and oversee construction of utility water and wastewater projects • Create site layouts, roadways, grading, erosion control, and stormwater management system plans • Develop exhibits, construction drawings, and specifications • Perform basic engineering calculations • Interact directly with public and private clients • Represent the company in a professional manner with clients • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements • Active Professional Engineering (PE) license • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field • 5–10 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in wastewater projects • Demonstrated leadership experience in some capacity • Professional experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design programs • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to meet project deadlines and budgets • Demonstrated interest in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering • 4+ years of professional work experience in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering • Experience working with municipal, industrial, and private clients • Experience in site layouts, roadways, grading, erosion control, and/or stormwater management systems • Experience developing exhibits, construction drawings, and specifications • Prior experience in project management within the wastewater industry Founded: 1993
