As a Thermal control intern, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks including designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, implementing and evaluating Data-driven Model predictive controllers to meet requirements of specified applications. Your design activities will include data analysis, thermal model predictive control, parameter estimation, model reduction among others.
Your assignmentDevelop thermal data-driven model predictive controllers for ASML scanner modules.
Translate performance specifications into design specification for modules and sub-modules.
Creation and validation of data-driven model predictive controllers concepts.
Work cross-functionally and drive implementation of design best practices into product design.
Deliver clear technical documents, provide effective presentation and written evaluations to communicate concepts, designs, test results, etc.
Your profile
To be a good fit for this internship, you:
Must be pursuing a degree preferably from Electrical/Mechanical/Control Engineering or Physics with control background.
Experience with Matlab Simulink.
Must have good understanding of Model Predictive Control and data analysis.
Must have good understanding of physics.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
This is a fulltime bachelor or Master internship for 6 to 9 months, starting as soon as possible.
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
