The wafer clamp is a complex piece of hardware that interacts with the customer's wafers. It is crucial for enabling lithography to meet the ever-tightening specifications on overlay, focus, and throughput while ensuring high availability. If you are curious about understanding what drives customer performance in our scanner, and if quantifying that performance through inspection, tests, and data analysis energizes you, then this position is for you. You will gain experience in a world-leading technology company during your studies by being part of a team of highly motivated and young engineers who will accompany you on this journey.
Your assignmentAs an intern in Wafer Clamping Performance and Integration Department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside wafer clamping experts, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. The specific focus will be on discovering how material nonlinearity can be taken into account to improve the performance of lithography systems.
You will contribute to the design and execution of experiments, as well as finite element method (FEM) modeling. Your work will impact the performance and reliability of ASML's products, helping you develop skills in precision engineering, materials science, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
