Qualifications:  

 

3.0 GPA and aboveMust be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity or prior work experienceMust be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business or Engineering with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.60 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferredExperience in high volume manufacturing preferred but not requiredExperience with AutoCAD & Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities at the same time while focusing and carrying out tasks in a timely & accurate mannerAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers and top management representatives

Salary Range:            $22-$23 /hour depending on experience

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Team at our Rochester, NY location. This position will report directly to the site Engineering Manager.  The Howmet Aerospace Summer Internship Program, will include engaging and impactful project or projects, lunch & learns presented by organizational leaders and tours of our manufacturing plant & processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support technical team in NPI (new product introduction) & production trials for OEM customers such as GE Aviation, Pratt Whitney, Rolls Royce, and others.Assist in development of root cause & corrective action analysisAssist technical team in data acquisition and trend analysisDefine and develop acceptance testing requirements for technical team reviewAssist in the development and deployment of systems to capture end user requirementsPromotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for all employees in accordance with regulatory requirements & Company standardsOther duties as assigned by Management
